LBT's Community of Engagement (COE) is dedicated to providing a way for our senior community to stay engaged in Temple life. Our bustling monthly calendar is filled with an array of activities and programs designed to cater to every interest and passion. Whether you're an art enthusiast, a music lover, or enjoy staying physically active, or simply enjoy the company of fellow LBTers, there's something for everyone.

Wednesdays at the Temple (WATT)
Offered on the 2nd Wednesday of every month, WATT brings together some of the most interesting and engaging speakers – authors, local leaders, thought leaders, and more. All are welcome to join these exciting sessions, whether in person or via our livestream.

Wise Aging with Linda Thal
Wisdom comes in all stages and ages. We engage in Torah, philosophical readings, poetry, and healthy discussion. We welcome all to try us out.

COE Current Events Class with Jonathan Dobrer
Welcome Jonathan Dobrer, current events maven, sharing his thoughts on current political issues. Jonathan teaches Current Events at American Jewish University and at Leo Baeck Temple on a once-a-month basis.

COE Chair Yoga/Stretching
While sitting in an armless chair, one gets a thorough workout without having to sit on the floor. The class stretches and tones arms, legs, and torso. Also included are classic standing yoga and balancing poses that are either free-standing or holding onto a chair. The fee is $10 for a one-hour class. The first class is FREE.

Join gifted instructor and opera enthusiast Dick Hutman, as we journey through the captivating world of opera. Whether you are an opera aficianado, a novice eager to explore this mesmerizing art form, or somewhere in between, you will enjoy learning about a new opera each month.
