Worship
At Leo Baeck Temple we seek to celebrate the joy, beauty, depth, and mystery of life through communal prayer. Our synagogue is a welcoming home for spiritual exploration.
High Holydays 2024/5785
We look forward to greeting the new year with you. Let the Holydays we are soon to share remind us again and again of just how blessed we are to have each other and this sacred community.
B'nai Mitzvah at Leo Baeck Temple
At the age of thirteen a Jewish child becomes a B'nai Mitzvah — a child of the commandments. Now responsible for their own ritual and ethical behavior, the child and family celebrate this milestone by coming to Torah and helping to lead services. At Leo Baeck Temple this is an intimate, warm, joyful, and meaningful experience.
Shabbat Services
From the fall to early summer, we hold our weekly Shabbat Evening Services at 6:15pm. Throughout the summer months, we are thrilled to venture outdoors for our much-loved Shabbat Under the Stars at 7:30pm. On the second and fourth Saturday, we invite you to join us in person or virtually for Shabbat Morning Minyan at 9:30am – a joyful service in song, and Torah learning.
Holiday Celebrations
Fortunately in Judaism, the calendar is filled with holidays throughout the year. At Leo Baeck Temple, we make the most of those opportunities to come together as a community and commemorate these holidays through various rituals, traditions, and meaningful celebrations.
Yizkor Services
Four Yizkor memorial services are held at Leo Baeck Temple throughout the year: at Yom Kippur, Sukkot, Passover, and Shavuot, to give our community the chance to honor their departed loved ones. Check the calendar for the specific service dates.
