After the service, please join us for a "bring your own picnic dinner and a beautiful evening at the shore. You won't want to miss it!

This dynamic duo of an artist and a rabbi will lead us in an immersive hands-on-workshop where we will embark on a transformative journey through the creation of paper midrash – a unique art practice combining contemporary narratives from comic books, movies, and other forms pop culture to inspire new insights into traditional texts. No experience necessary – just bring your willingness to try something different and new!

We will conclude the evening with our Selichot service, featuring Cantor Hass and our LBT choir, as well as a special communal ritual of changing all our Torah covers from their year-round colors to their High Holy Days white! Don’t miss this one-of-a-kind evening in the Jewish year, where we will study and pray and sing together like never before!
